Troy Gillette

Physical Therapist Assistant, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist

Originally from Worland, Wyoming, Troy Gillette has a rich history of experience in the physical therapy field. He has been skillfully practicing as a physical therapist assistant and certified strength and conditioning specialist for over 20 years, though his first taste of working in a physical therapy clinic was 25 years ago. Not only is he well-versed in the world of PT, he has also been on staff with his Apex team for for over a decade. After working in both Cheyenne and Worland prior to coming to Gillette, Troy was attracted to the progressive pursuit of Apex. He appreciates being apart of a clinic that is constantly trying to stay on top of the cutting edge and being apart of a knowledgeable team that is always ready to change in order to improve.

The experience and expertise of Troy Gillette has not stopped him from being willing to adapt and better his services. His success as a therapist derives from many different qualities, but especially comes from his ability to continuously build his skill set by combining old and new techniques. Troy is always on the lookout for changes in healthcare, as well as opportunities to learn and implement fresh methods into physical therapy. All in all, there is nothing about his job that Troy doesn’t love. But if he had to pick one aspect as his favorite, it would be the experience of starting with patients that have nothing and walking with them side-by-side as they accomplish their goals.

Outside of his daily work, Troy plugs into the community by attending events with his co-workers. His spare time activities include exploring the mountains and working with vehicles. Gillette has been happily married for 16 years, and his wife works as a registered dietician. The two of them both greatly enjoy spending time outdoors and with their lovable labradors, Sadie and Gronk.
